Metro Pizza has spent years honing in on the craft of making the best pizza possible. The hard work has paid off with recognition and awards from national and local organizations that are obsessed with pizza just as much as we are.
We're the Pizza Champs
Metro Pizza, co-founder John Arena named a Legend of Pizza and World Pizza Champion. He’s been crowned the don of dough, the sultan of sauce, and the prince of pizza by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Top Vegas Pizza states "Metro Pizza refers to itself as “America’s Neighborhood Pizzeria” and it fits. The pizza shop is very family oriented and has a lot of variety to serve everyone. Metro Pizza has a lot of similar pizzas you’d expect to find at a popular pizza shop, plus it has its own specialty pies and the well-known “86th Street Square Pie.”
Local Las Vegas Radio Station, X107.5, says "Metro Pizza is one of the original pizzerias in Las Vegas. They opened their doors in 1980 and never looked back. They have all kinds of accolades, including being named Las Vegas' Greatest Pizzeria of All-Time in 2020. I'm a fan of the Modesto."
When you're responsible for creating something amazing, people want to talk about it. We have been featured on USA Today, Live with Regis and Kelly, and included in as one of the best pizzerias in America in "Everybody Loves Pizza" by Jeff Ruby and Penny Pollack.

That eclecticism spreads to the dining experiences, as well. Metro Pizza, which has five locations in Las Vegas and the surrounding area, has a welcoming, all-ages feel at its largest restaurant in the city’s Centennial Hills neighborhood.
If you didn’t make it to Vegas institution Metro Pizza during your trip, you can grab a slice before your flight. New York natives Sam Facchini and John Arena opened the first location in 1980.
In addition to our contributions in the local Las Vegas pizza scene, we are involved in the greater international pizza community.
